Charlotte and I went to buy produce at Henry's Farmers Market today,the cashier rang us up at the end and I was psyched that I only had to whip out$17.15.......I feel like I got such a great deal for all this exciting fresh healthy produce.Aaron made fun of me while I was setting it out nicely when I got home, and hethinks it's rediculous that I am talking about it on my blog, but hey it was the 72hr. sale....avacados were 3/$1..............it's the little things in life.

Speeking of Kitchens, I am PSYCHED about our new majestic yellow kitchenaid mixer!My Grandma Leona, and my sweet momma gave us money for Christmas that we decided to put towards a mixer. it's simply delightful. so retro and cool..... great for making cookies with the kids as they grow up! yay!

aunt Lindsey gave us these cute measuring spoons for Christmas,Charlotte thinks they're great

doesn't she just look like she thinks she's big stuff? (.......our world does pretty much revolve around her)

but my favorite cook in our kitchen is this guy. he's not into taking pictures with his goods

(I forced him, and he was totally annoyed), but he found this recipe for stuffed green peppers on the back of our grocery store receipt and thought he'd give them a try.....how delightful!

He since we've had this mixer he's made chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookiespizza dough, mashed potatoes, and soft chewy gingerbread cookies that were horribly addicting.

and this is gonna be the cause of my baby weight sticking with me,because he makes THE BEST from scratch apple pie, the perfect amount of sweet and tart..................................yes, I think I'll keep this guy around!

oh Charley Mae my dear, sometimes we have to pay the price for beauty. i guess I have to share the bad news with you. sometimes BEAUTY IS PAINFUL

Charlotte's been "hangin" out with me alot lately.

we've done laundry together, and pretty much everything around the house! funny that she's two months old and already doing chores.....time for her to start pullin her weight around here, all 13lbs!

Goldielocks and her bears

These bears seem fairly boring to your mommy.

In fact, I didn't even bother to put them on your swing at first.

OHHHH how we miss auntie

you watch them so intensely and you smile and coo at them like they are talking to you in a language that i just cant hear. It's almost disturbing how mesmerized you are by what seems to be just 3 boring old white bears.... you have so many more colorful toys, but nope, you are not even close to being as excited about them. My little Goldielocks, you just LOVE those bears!

My cup runneth over

It has been AMAZING to see a father's love for his daughter. I feel like it gives me a little more of an understanding of God's love. I've always felt like a child of God but now I sorta have a parents perspective.

I now understand what people mean when they say that that it's hard to imagine how you can love something so much! I love you little Charlotte, and your daddy is TRUELY SMITTEN! It makes my heart happy when I see your daddy look at you the way he does. We've become quite the blubbering idiots and do everything we can to get a smile out of you, and when you DO smile back, wow......My cup runneth over.

Charley Mae's Room

This is a dresser we found at AmVets thrift store, and Aaron did a great job with the painting. I have to admitt that I couldn't visualize his plan and was impressed at how it turned out.

Cute mobile that we found at the Bernardo Winery craft fair.

Changing table was an Amvets find as well, Aaron did the paint(which turned out great) and We did the bird picture together. I found the frame at a thrift store and used scrapbook paper to cut out the birds. It ended up being quite the bonding project for mommy and daddy, and definitely made with love!

I am very proud of my nesting doll purchase, I had searched the internet for some cause I thought they would be a nice addition, but stumbled across these babies at Anthropology, and was super excited!

So this is my little sunshine, and i am now a stay at home mommy and I have soooooo many things that I want to do/do better.........and I am SOOOO inspired by my incredible sissy who really thinks that I will not keep up with something like this. I'm turning over a new leaf (leif) hehe, and am gonna try REAAALLLLY hard to be the mommy that Charlotte needs, the supportive wifey that Aaron deserves. p.s. i need to get my booty in gear because my little chubby bunny is growing SOOOO fast. She is 8 weeks old and time has gone by way too fast! Many pictures to follow!
